What We Believe
At Lotus Kulture, we hold a deep respect for the natural rhythms of birth. Lotus birth (umbilical nonseverance) is practiced by leaving the baby connected to the placenta, allowing the cord to detach naturally—often within 3 to 10 days.
We believe birth should be gentle, sacred, rooted in tradition, and free from unnecessary interventions. Many birthing centers don’t know or support lotus birth—we want to change that.

Nice to meet you!
Hi! I’m Kemi, In 2017, while expecting my third child, I was already living a vegan and holistic lifestyle. I knew I wanted a birth experience that honored the same values—natural, intentional, rooted in tradition. That quest led me to lotus birth.
